Alliance Cyber Earns 2025 Platinum HIRE Vets Medallion

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Cocoa, FL — Alliance Cyber is proud to announce that the company has been awarded the 2025 Platinum HIRE Vets Medallion by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS). This distinguished federal recognition marks a significant milestone in Alliance Cyber’s mission to support, employ, and empower America’s veterans through meaningful career opportunities.

This honor reflects more than just numbers. It represents the depth of Alliance Cyber’s commitment to the veteran community — a commitment that echoes through our hiring, culture, and workforce development strategies. With an astounding 70% veteran workforce as of 2025, Alliance Cyber is recognized among a select group of employers nationwide whose efforts meet the highest standards for veteran hiring and retention.

What the HIRE Vets Medallion Award Means

The HIRE Vets Medallion Program — created under the HIRE Vets Act of 2017 — is the only federal-level award that recognizes companies for their commitment to recruiting, employing, and retaining U.S. military veterans.

To qualify for the Platinum level of recognition, Alliance Cyber had to meet robust criteria. These included: hiring a substantial percentage of veterans during the prior year; demonstrating high retention rates of those veterans after 12 months; maintaining a meaningful percentage of veteran employees company-wide; and offering veteran-specific support such as resource groups, leadership development, dedicated human-resources capacity, and compensation support for reservists or National Guard members on active duty.

Ryan Trandell, Vice President of Business Development, added “the Platinum Medallion reinforces that our investment in veterans is real and measurable. Their professionalism and mission-focus elevate our performance and deepen the trust of our clients.”

Receiving this award means that Alliance Cyber has not only welcomed veterans into its workforce, but has built programs to support their long-term success, growth, and integration. It signals to veterans — and to business partners — that our company values military-acquired skills, discipline, and experience as core strengths.

Why This Recognition Matters for Alliance Cyber

For Alliance Cyber, the Platinum HIRE Vets Medallion embodies the values we hold dear: service, integrity, excellence, and empowerment. We are honored to stand among the nation’s leaders in veteran employment — and this award validates the strategic vision we’ve pursued under the leadership of our President, who himself served nearly three decades in the U.S. Air Force and helped build one of the most robust cyber workforces in military history.

This award underscores that we are not simply hiring veterans — we are giving them careers. We recognize that veterans bring unique strengths: leadership under pressure, mission-focus, adaptability, and a technical foundation grounded in disciplined training. We value these strengths and have deliberately built a workplace culture and infrastructure around them.

Alliance Cyber’s Chief Information Security Officer, Michael Pertain, shared “this award reflects our commitment to building a workplace where veterans can continue serving a mission that matters. Their discipline, integrity, and resilience strengthen everything we do at Alliance Cyber.”

Beyond internal pride, this recognition enhances Alliance Cyber’s standing in the marketplace. The digital medallion — now available via the official dashboard — may be used in marketing, solicitations, and business development efforts. It formally identifies Alliance Cyber as a veteran-ready, veteran-supportive employer, increasing our appeal to clients, partners, and potential hires seeking a company with proven commitment to veteran employment.

What This Means for Our Veterans — and the Future

To our veteran interns and employees within Alliance Cyber: this award belongs to you. It reflects our dedication to creating a workplace where your service is honored and transformed into long-term opportunity. We are committed to professional development, mentorship, and a career path that utilizes — and expands — your skillsets.

This recognition is also a call to action. It sets a benchmark and commitment we will strive to surpass each year. We will continue to invest in veteran-specific resource groups, leadership training, tuition assistance, and all necessary support to help veterans transition successfully into the cybersecurity workforce — and build meaningful, sustainable careers in the private and government sectors.

Finally, for the broader business and veteran community, we hope Alliance Cyber’s recognition encourages other employers to follow suit. The HIRE Vets Medallion Program was created to foster a nationwide culture of veteran support, and we believe that more businesses embracing veteran hiring strengthens American innovation, security, and economic vitality.

Thank You — and What’s Next

We thank the U.S. Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service for this great honor. We look forward to receiving our physical award package in the mail and leveraging the digital medallion immediately in our outreach, marketing, and recruitment efforts. Should an awards ceremony be scheduled in January 2026, we look forward to participating.

Most importantly, we thank the men and women — our veterans — who serve Alliance Cyber every day with dedication, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence. This award is a milestone, but it is not the finish line. It is a foundation upon which we will continue to build: veteran-first hiring, retention, development, and success.

Alliance Cyber — where service continues.
