Rebecca Granger Honored as Businesswoman of the Year by Orlando Business Journal
Alliance Cyber is thrilled to announce that Rebecca Granger, our esteemed Chief Operating Officer, has been awarded the prestigious “Businesswoman of the Year” title by the Orlando Business Journal in their 2024 Women Who Mean Business awards. This accolade celebrates Rebecca’s exceptional achievements in the cybersecurity industry, her innovative leadership at Alliance Cyber, and her unwavering dedication to the community.
Under Rebecca’s guidance over the past two years, Alliance Cyber, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, has seen unprecedented growth. Her strategic foresight and business acumen have propelled the company from a startup generating $100,000 in revenue to a thriving enterprise boasting $650,000 in revenue in less than a year. This remarkable growth is a testament to Rebecca’s ability to implement effective revenue-generating strategies and develop value-added services that cater to the evolving needs of our clients.

“Alliance Cyber has benefited immensely from Rebecca’s leadership,” said Alexander Hall, President of Alliance Cyber. “Her innovative approach and commitment to excellence have not only driven our financial success but also solidified our position as a leader in the cybersecurity sector.”
Rebecca’s strategic initiatives over the past 12 months have included expanding into government contracting and integrating Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance operational efficiency. Her efforts have earned Alliance Cyber national recognition, including being named one of the Nation’s Top 10 Risk Assessment Solutions companies by CIO Review magazine, and the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2023 Small Business of the Year.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Rebecca’s community involvement is profound. As the Vice Chair of Family Promise of Brevard since 2020, she has played a pivotal role in empowering families facing homelessness. Additionally, her role as Director of Small Business Advocacy at the NDIA Central Florida Chapter has fostered crucial collaborations between the government and industry, especially benefiting small businesses.
Rebecca’s motivation stems from a deep-seated belief in servant leadership and the transformative power of community engagement. “My success is rooted in understanding the interplay between business and community needs and leveraging that insight to drive meaningful change,” Rebecca shared. Her efforts have not only catalyzed growth at Alliance Cyber but also significantly impacted the community through initiatives like the Firehouse Taskforce and support for veteran transitions.
When asked about her career advice for other women, Rebecca emphasized the importance of persistence, resilience, and a servant leadership mindset. She also advocates for the Pomodoro Technique to enhance focus, underscoring her proactive approach to overcoming challenges, including managing ADHD.
Looking forward, Rebecca is committed to furthering her professional development with technical certifications such as Security+ and Certified Information Systems Security Professional. Moreover, she aims to prioritize self-care and increase her commitment to exercise, reflecting her holistic approach to success.
Rebecca Granger’s receipt of the “Businesswoman of the Year” award is an inspiration for women in business and cybersecurity. Her leadership at Alliance Cyber and her contributions to the community embody the values of service, expertise, and compassion that drive the company to new heights. We congratulate Rebecca on this well-deserved honor and look forward to her continued impact on our industry and beyond.
