Celebrating Excellence: Alec Hall Named National Finalist for 2025 Vetrepreneur of the Year

At Alliance Cyber, we’ve always believed that leadership is forged through service. Today, we’re proud to celebrate a moment that proves exactly that. Our founder and president, Alec Hall, has advanced to the national finalist round for the 2025 Military Friendly® Vetrepreneur of the Year Award.

Earlier this year, Alec was named Florida’s State Winner—a recognition that highlighted his impact across the veteran and cybersecurity communities. Now, he’s one of just ten finalists nationwide, joining a powerful group of military-connected entrepreneurs who are redefining what leadership looks like after service.

But this honor is more than a title. It’s a statement.

“You didn’t win this by popularity or chance,” the Military Friendly® program shared. “You earned it through grit, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to your community. This recognition reflects the lives you’ve touched and the change you’ve inspired.”

And that’s exactly who Alec is. After 28 years in the U.S. Air Force—rising to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant—he transitioned from commanding cyber operations and building the nation’s digital defenses to launching Alliance Cyber: a mission-driven, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business that now provides cutting-edge cybersecurity, governance, and workforce development solutions across the country.

Alec didn’t just start a business—he built a platform to empower others. His leadership has opened doors for fellow veterans, created jobs, protected nonprofits and small businesses, and influenced the national conversation around cyber resilience. Through the Alliance Cyber Gives Foundation, he’s expanded that reach even further, offering classroom STEM grants, pro bono cybersecurity services, and community uplift initiatives that reflect his deep belief that service doesn’t end when the uniform comes off.

From leading the Military Affairs Council and supporting transitioning service members, to advising national security policymakers and mentoring the next generation of cyber professionals, Alec’s impact is felt far beyond the digital domain. And at Alliance Cyber, we see that legacy in motion every day—in the way we train, hire, support, and serve.

“The military taught me that leadership means showing up with purpose, especially when the stakes are high,” Alec said. “This recognition isn’t just mine—it belongs to every veteran who’s turned challenge into change, and to every teammate at Alliance Cyber who lives this mission with me.”

The Vetrepreneur of the Year Award isn’t just a celebration—it’s a movement. A call to action. A reminder that military-connected leaders don’t just serve—they build, uplift, and lead with conviction. Alec embodies that mission, and we’re incredibly proud to stand beside him on this national stage.
